Exeter Lodges

Exeter Lodges
Exeter is made up of three private reserves within the greater Sabi Sand Reserve. The four lodges, Exeter Leadwood, Exeter Dulini, Exeter River and Kirkmans Kamp are placed in spectacular settings. Each lodge has its own style and all offer excellence in luxury and service. Experienced game guides and trackers ensure that every moment of your wildlife safari is a moment to enjoy.

Kirkmans Kamp
Kirkman's Kamp is a restored 1920s lodge, its 18 cottages reminiscent of the park's formative years when luxury and comfort contrasted with the harsh and inhospitable wilderness. Situated in its own reserve the game-viewing activities are excellent and the casual atmosphere of the lodge lends itself to an easy escape.

Exeter River Lodge
Exeter River Lodge is an intimate African-themed lodge on the banks of the Sand River. The lodge has eight suites with private plunge pools that overlook the river. Luxury, intimacy and an excellent wildlife safari are the order of the day.

Exeter Dulini Lodge
The colonial theme adds to the majesty of Exeter Dulini Lodge – an impressive lodge whose six stone cottages overlook the Mabrak River. Expect luxury and tranquillity with the ever-present excitement of the African bush at every turn.

Exeter Leadwood Lodge
Exeter Leadwood Lodge is Exeter's flagship and the pinnacle of luxury. The modern design compliments its setting and no measure of comfort has been spared. The four suites are sublime and assure the highest levels of luxury and exclusivity.

Know when to go
Time Zone
South Africa Standard Time is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+2). This is ideal for European clients as the time difference is minimal. South Africa does not operate Daylight-Saving Time. International Dialling Code for South Africa is 0027.
Hot Tip
The game viewing is best in the dry winter months from April to October when the land is parched, the bush has thinned out and the animals congregate at permanent sources of water. The days have dreamy warmth and impossible blue skies but temperatures plummet when the sun goes down.
