South Africa’s best destinations are combined in this nine-day tour that takes a classic safari and adds it to a fabulous beach holiday in the beautiful city – and trendy capital of Africa – that is Cape Town.

This tour skips out Joburg giving your clients an extra night on the town and an extra day on the beach. The fascinating wildlife experience of Kruger will set the mood for a fabulous beach-and-bar holiday in Cape Town.

The tour can easily be reversed if your clients would prefer to start in Cape Town and end in Joburg.

Itinerary

Day 1 – 3: Greater Kruger National Park

An Icon Expeditions team member will meet you at Joburg International and see your clients to their scheduled charter flight that will take them to within minutes of their lodge. Arrive in time for lunch – their first feast of many – and the afternoon/evening game drive.

Your clients days will be filled with fascinating wildlife and wilderness encounters: serene sunrise game drives, bush walks and afternoon safaris that stretch into the evening. Activities are conveniently punctuated with enormous meals and recuperation time by the pool, in their room or on the spa treatment bench.

Day 4 - 8: Cape Town

Bid a fond farewells after a morning game drive and last breakfast, which is followed by a two-hour road transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. SAA will take your clients directly to Cape Town where they’ll transfer to their hotel in De Waterkant – the trendy village.

Your clients have got five nights in Cape Town. A year is not enough but one may as well start somewhere. Within walking distance from all the clubs, bars and restaurants your clients may never leave the village, but do talk to us about day trips and excursions if they want to experience the best that Cape Town has to offer.

Day 9: Cape Town

Did your clients make the most of their time? A 20-minute transfer will take them back to Cape Town Airport where they’ll get one last look at the beautiful city – from the air.
