Our Flights
Icon Expeditions is proud to be the first operator to be able to bring our clients a unique direct connection between two of Southern Africa's most popular destinations, namely Kruger National Park and Victoria Falls.
The flights are operated on our behalf by Sefofane Air Charters, one of Southern Africa's top air charter companies with an excellent service and exemplary safety record.
Other airlines may fly out of Kruger Mpumalanga Airport (near Nelspruit) but we operate from Skukuza Airport, bringing you the utmost in convenience. Skukuza is located in the heart of Kruger National Park, just 30 minutes away from many of the lodges in the Sabi Sands, much closer than Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. This means that you can arrive at your lodge in time for an evening game drive and leave after a morning game drive, thus maximising your Safari!

MORE ABOUT OUR FLIGHTS:
In order to provide a seemless connection between Cape Town, Kruger and Victoria Falls, eliminating the need for duplicate flights and unnecessary city overnights, we have partnered with both SA Airlink and British Airways. The Cape Town-Kruger connection is operated by SA Airlink and the flight operates once per day and should it be fully booked on your day of choice, we can arrange an alternative flight with Federal Air or SA Airlink via Johannesburg. Federal Air operates directly out of OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg which makes it particularly easy to plan your clients' outgoing transfers to anywhere else in Africa.
Our Victoria Falls routing to and from Johannesburg runs through British Airways with whom we have a strategic alliance. They run daily flights from Johannesburg to Livingstone (and vice-versa). The flight between Johannesburg and Victoria Falls operates twice weekly.
Booking a flight through Icon Expeditions means not only exclusive routing but also guaranteed accommodation. Every available seat on our Kruger National Park-Livingstone flight is associated with allocation in a luxurious Kruger Lodge. In other words, if there is an available seat, we can guarantee Kruger availability. This is just one of the many ways we endeavour to guarantee client satisfaction.
NB: The routing we have pioneered between Victoria Falls (Livingstone Airport) and Kruger National Park (Skukuza Airport) is exclusive to Icon Expeditions.
