Get wet
There are four vantage points from which to see the falls and your client must try them all: opposite, below, atop, and from the sky. Take a raincoat and put one's camera in a bag.
See some animals
Concessions and game parks in the vicinity including the Zambezi, Mosi-oa-Tunya, Matetsi, Chobe and Hwange make Victoria Falls a premium wildlife destination.
Take a shot of adrenaline
Lots to do: the world’s best white-water rafting, bungee jumping, gorge swinging, abseiling, skydiving, balloon rides, elephant-back safaris...
Eat cake
High tea at Victoria Falls Hotel has been an undisturbed tradition since 1904 and your client will see why.
Cruise the river
Chug the local grog and watch the sunset over the Zambezi and check out the talent: hippos, crocs, elephants and hundreds of birds.
Go Afro
Visit the traditional village and haggle with the craftsmen over their fine carvings, sculpture, fabrics and a hundred and one versions of the Nyami Nyami river god.
Eat
By the river, at a waterhole, in the bush, under the stars, in an African kraal, on a private deck, on an island, on a precipice above the falls or in an Edwardian ball room. |
