If your clients have never been to Africa before, they should prepare to be pleasantly surprised, nay bowled over, by the standard of service and the luxurious facilities offered by the hotels, lodges, guest houses and self-catering apartments that we have selected here. For both novice and initiated, we have chosen our accommodation with care to ensure that your clients high standards are surpassed and, most important, that they are made to feel welcome and special wherever they go. Every establishment has been certified by ourselves, with at least one of the Icon Expeditions Team having visited all the accommodations we represent.
Our accommodation has been classified according to type and quality; we also display whether each place is managed or owned.
| Lodge - Lodges vary but they share standards of luxury and the fact that you will see wildlife, experience the 'African bush' and learn about the local history and ecology - usually at the hands of a highly qualified guide. |

| Hotel - To many, the idea of staying in a hotel has been tainted by chain hotels, concrete monoliths, and indifferent service. We have selected distinctive hotels that enhance their surroundings and provide world-class service and facilities. |

| Boutique Hotel - Themed and stylish boutique hotels are smaller than mainstream hotels; they offer intimate service and have all the essential facilities of a large hotel with some nifty technological innovations as a result of being purpose-built. |

| Guest House - Guest Houses are usually run by their owners assuring your clients the best possible service and personal attention. Most have been built in the traditional style of a B&B and offer a quiet and relaxing retreat after a busy day or late night. |

| Self-Catering - Gone are the days of the 'sea-facing cottage' that looks into the delivery entrance of a fish shop. Our self-catering properties are tastefully decorated, fully furnished and in convenient or spectacular locations - most often both. |
